Hi, I'm Cortnie and I am the owner of Elements of Wellbeing.

Elements of Wellbeing was created through my journey into motherhood. I found myself amid post-natal depression and was looking for something different. I knew I wanted to feel better but I couldn’t seem to find an outlet that helped my long-term well-being.

My body could no longer cope with the high-intensity workouts. I found myself constantly in a state of stress and anxiousness after a workout and I never understood why. I felt great at the time but that feeling was never sustainable.
Upon my search for something different, I found Integrative Movement. It took me so long to work up the courage to try something so different and new. I was self-conscious and embarrassed but after building up the courage I just did it. From this session, I knew I had found exactly what I had been searching for. I attended regular sessions and started to notice how what I was learning in each session helped me throughout each day, then each week and I noticed a big change in how I was feeling.

After attending classes for a year I loved the philosophy so much that I took the opportunity to study it and become a teacher of it myself.

From here I found a love of essential oils, the benefits of infrared sauna followed by the cold water immersion and then started practising and learning all things about our breath. These elements have been such a game changer to my health and well-being that I just had to share them with people.
For the last couple of years I have been studying every chance I can get, working it around my young family to be able to bring these elements into one little sanctuary that I can offer to help people reconnect with their bodies.
So through this, I built this custom space where I can now offer these elements to you.
My difference, I have been on the other side. I came as a depressed, stressed, tired, anxious mum who needed a change. I wanted to feel better. I had to feel better for myself and my family.
Starting a new career at 38 was daunting and I had many, many doubts but I am so thankful I took the plunge.
I truly believe this is my purpose in life.
